ZORN ZFG 3.0 GPS Lightweight Deflectometer
It is already traditional for ZORN INSTRUMENTS to market the Lightweight Deflectometer ZFG in a design with handheld electronics.
The current ZFG 3.0 is even handier, lighter and above all more convenient than its predecessor. Just like its counterpart, the ZFG 3000 GPS, the intuitive prompts on the ZFG 3.0 enable even inexperienced users to undertake and analyse the dynamic plate load test correctly. The device electronics for the ZFG 3.0 are safely protected during the test in the leather pouch provided. Up to 10,000 measurement results can be saved in the ample internal memory and can be transferred safely to your PC using an SD card.
Super-robust aluminium/composite housing with hinged protective lid against dust and spray. External controls for usage with lid closed. Integrated GPS receiver with position information in the UTM or Gauss-Krueger format. Integrated thermal printer for immediately printing out individual measurements including deformation modulus Evd, individual deformation values s1-s3 and average savg, s/v ratio, as well as graphic depiction of the deformation curves. Combined power supply for the measuring electronics and printer from a powerful, rechargeable NiMH battery

The operation of the Lightweight Deflectometer ZFG is convenient and easy because, during its design and development, attention was paid to ensuring incorrect measurements are automatically excluded by an internal plausibility check. In this way it is ensured that a layperson can operate the Lightweight Deflectometer correctly after brief instruction and can undertake precise measurements on soil compaction.
The procedure shown for the measuring process demonstrates the easy, quick implementation of the measurement that can be printed out immediately on the construction site using the integrated mini-printer and saved on the SD card for subsequent print-outs on a PC.
